Dr. Rizek is a neurologist and Movement Disorders subspecialist.
He completed his Neurology residency at Western University, and subsequently his clinical fellowship in Movement Disorders at Western University, under the mentorship of Dr. Mandar Jog. He completed his Master's degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology at Queen’s University.
He is currently staff neurologist/movement disorders specialist at Credit Valley Hospital; Physician Lead, EEG Quality, at Trillium Health Partners; Education lead for neurology (undergraduate and postgraduate) at Trillium Health Partners, Neurologist in the Huntington Disease clinic at North York General Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and Investigator at the Institute for Better Health, Trillium Health Partners. He has published numerous articles in the areas of movement disorders and neurology. He has won teaching awards, including a teaching excellence award for medical education from the University of Toronto’s MD program.
